We are excited to find a person to join our team as the Director of Student Ministries (DSM). We believe we have an excellent opportunity for an experienced leader who loves students first and foremost; and who sees themselves as a team builder and equipper….to get others involved in the lives of students. We place a high value on evangelism, excellence in teaching and relational ministry. The right candidate will have a passion for these things as well as a proven track record and the ability to supervise other staff (4 including DSM)…while taking the primary lead in our High School ministry.

Central Wesleyan Church is a church of 2500, located in the beautiful college town of Holland, Michigan. Currently we have 250 students in MS/HS ministries.

Duties:
* Leadership of the whole department; supervising Middle School pastor and other staff
* Teaching in High school gatherings/ building up other teachers
* Finding/growing lay leaders
* Setting and implementing strategy for evangelism and ministry programs.
* Communication with parents
* Providing pastoral leadership and care

Required:
* Experience leading a student ministry of 150+ Kids
* Ability and desire to connect with local church
* Have served in a multi-staff church, with at least 800 in attendance
* Proven track record
* Membership (desire to pursue) in Wesleyan church
