Central Wesleyan Church would like to thank the following businesses for their participation in the Plunge 2008: 2nd Saturday Serving opportunities continue to happen throughout the year. On the second Saturday of the month, gather with others for clean-up, landscaping and community development projects. Join us in the Chapel at 8:30 a.m. and we'll assign you a place to serve until noon. There are always kid-friendly opportunities!  "One Church, One School, One Neighborhood"
Because Holland Public School District is our neighboring school district and VanRaalte Elementary is our new "Kid's Hope" school, we sense God leading us to deepen and broaden our relationships with teachers, kids and families at this school. 
Breakfast with Baby/Desayuno con Bebé
The second Saturday of every month here at Central we provide families on Medicaid in our community a hot breakfast, a 'Jesus connection' and a chance to collect baby items from our 'Central Baby Store'. The meal, for families with infants up to 12 months or pregnant moms (7 months), is offered at 10 a.m. Sign up to volunteer beginning at 9 a.m. We are always in need of baby items such as: diapers, wipes, new baby outfits or gently used baby items. We also are in need of CRIBS! For any donation over $100 we can send you a letter for tax-deduction purposes. Please contact Teresa Schutte at 772.1653 with any questions. Jubilee Community Grants  $1,000 dollars could be yours to bless unchurched and underprivleged families in our community. Small group leaders must attend an orientation meeting to understand the process to aquire the monies. Our desire is to equip small groups with the resources they need to accomplish a service project that will have redemptive value in our local community.
