Women's Ministries

Women's Ministry at Central is dedicated to providing a place for women to be encouraged, to grow in Jesus and to feel belonging as a part of the body of Christ. This ministry is designed to consider the unique needs of each woman. We are committed to helping women answer the three basic questions of life. Identity: "Who am I?", Importance: "Do I matter?" and Impact: "What is my place in life?"

There is something for every woman: new mothers, mothers of college-aged children, grandmothers, single women, married women, women in need, and more. During the year we offer conferences, Bible studies, fellowships, mentoring, evangelism, desserts and other activites for women to be able to grow and connect. There will always be plenty of fun, prayer, Bible study, and connection!

We always offer a Beth Moore Bible study for women,. There have been many studies throughout the years that have touched and encouraged women. This is a response from one of the ladies who facilitates the Beth Moore Studies: "The best part about the Beth Moore Bible Studies for me has been the opportunity to study the Bible with other women who are seeking to know and please God just like me. I've loved the difference of ages in our groups, from older women to younger women—the life experiences of the older women give us a good picture of how God is faithful, and the younger women often have fresh ideas and insights to share from their current life journeys.
It is such a blessing to have a Bible Study where our hearts and minds are seeking to know and honor God."

There is also a group for young mothers called M&Ms (Moms and Mentors) that nurtures and meets the needs of younger moms. We will start up in the Fall, meeting two Tuesday mornings a month. Here are some quotes from mothers involved in M&Ms:
"I always enjoy every part of M&Ms. Terry's teachings, the small group time, crafts and learning from each other."
"I love the fellowship with other moms and sharing practical parenting ideas."
"I always love the teaching and sharing time. I am so thankful for all the wisdom from everyone."
There's even food! "Apple pies rock!"

This summer we are offering two Bible Studies for women to seek God's Word (see following Weekly announcements), apply it, and share it throughout their daily living. We look forward to seeing old faces as well as new women who desire to live out God's will for their lives and connect with other women with that same desire!
