Adult Classes

	Prayer & Praise (C161) Wednesdays 4–5 p.m. A weekly gathering for senior adults to share prayers and praises. Senior Adult Ministries also sponsors social events throughout the year. Contact: Larry, 395.3135
	Participating Membership Class (A256) Pastor Paul Sunday, October 12, 6–8 p.m. or Wednesday, October 29, 6:30–8:15 p.m. Discover the core values and beliefs of Central. This class is a prerequisite for membership. To sign up call Joey at 395.3127 or sign up online.
	Fresh Start (A256) Pastor Paul Wednesdays, September 3–October 1 & January 21–February 18 A five-week class for those who are beginning or “beginning anew” their walk with the Lord. It covers the basics every Christian needs to know. To sign up, call Joey at 395.3127 or sign up online.
	Starting Point (A242) Perkins Wednesdays, 6:30–8 p.m. A small, interactive class designed for those seeking or starting a relationship with Christ. Provides a great foundation to build on for a life as a follower of Christ. Begins September 10.
	S.H.A.P.E. (C162) Wednesdays, 6:30 p.m., September 17 & 24 and October 1 This three-week class is about uncovering your gifts, passions, abilities and experiences to serve God as He desires. Call Laura at 395.3705 for more information. Click here to sign up.
	Crossroads Career Network (D201) Thursdays, 6:30–9 p.m. A class for those in the middle of career transition. We look through a biblical lens to help you discover God's direction for your career as well as practical advice for your situation. We begin September 18.
	Under His Wings (D201) every other Monday, 7–9 p.m. A class for parents who grieve the loss of a child. We start September 15.
	Grieve Not Alone (D201) every other Tuesday, 7–8:30 p.m. A class for those who grieve the death of a spouse, whether recent or not. We start September 16.
	H4SA–Hope for the Single Again (C161) Tuesdays, 6:30–8:30 p.m. (C161) A ten-week class for people who are dealing with the effects of separation or divorce. We begin September 9. Cost is $25. You can register by calling 395.3109 or online.
	Confident Kids Tuesdays, same time as H4SA. This Bible-based class helps 1st–5th graders deal with the stress of living through their parents' separation or divorce. A parent must be attending H4SA in order for the child to attend. For more information, call 395.3109.
	The Truth Project (C167) Todd Johnson Wednesdays, 6:30 p.m. The Truth Project curriculum will teach about understanding and living the Christian worldview in daily life, knowing the nature and character of God and recognizing His design for all of life. We begin September 17.

Women's Classes

	Beth Moore's "Stepping Up" (C161) Elise Zuber This study is a journey through the Psalms of Ascent, which explores Psalms 120-134. Traveling pilgrims sang these psalms both on the way to the great festivals of the Jews and as key elements of the worship at those festivals. Students will interact with Beth Moore and the Scriptures in new ways. They will gain a new appreciation for the life of faith as a journey to greater fellowship with and worship of God. This seven-week study began on Wednesday, September 17, 2008. We meet from 6:30-8:30 p.m. and the cost is $18.00 for the workbook. To register for this class, please call Cathy at 395.3113.
	Priscilla Shirer's "Can We Talk?" (C165) Claudia Simpson Wednesdays, 6:30–8 p.m. This study delivers familiar spiritual disciplines through a fresh, new method of teaching. You will develop a Christ-focused view on important issues and experience a closer walk with your Creator. We start September 17 and meet for seven weeks.
	Women of the Word (WOW) Lynnelle Pierce Lynnelle will teach on "From Perfection to Perfection with Man's Sinful Choice and Grace In Between–Genesis, Grace and Revelation." No childcare provided, and no pre-registration is required.
	Moms & Mentors (M&Ms) with Peanuts (C161) Childcare drop-off: 9:15–9:45 a.m. Class time: 9:35–11:15 a.m. First Semester: September 29–December 16 Second Semester: February 17–April 28 Moms & Mentors nurtures and meets the needs of mothers of preschoolers. Peanuts, our children's program, runs simultaneously. Cost is $5 per week if you need childcare or $15 per semester if not.
	College Moms In Touch (D214) Lu Maatman Thursdays, 9:45-10:45 a.m. (D214) If you have children who are college-aged or career-oriented, join this Moms in Touch group. Contact: Lu, 392.1968

Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) Wednesdays, 9:15 a.m. at Central Wesleyan or Mondays, 6:55 p.m. at First Reformed Church of Zeeland A group of interdenominational women who meet to study God's Word. For more information call Barb at 394.0073.

Men's Groups and Classes

	Men's Fraternity (C166) "The Quest for Authentic Manhood" meets Mondays, 6:30 p.m. Starts September 8. "Winning at Work and Home" meets Wednesdays, 6:30 p.m. Starts September 17. These practical and relevant studies teach men how to live transformed lives and modeled by Jesus Christ.
	Tuesday Morning Prayer (Worship Center) Tuesdays, 6–6:45 a.m. We meet to support, encourage and pray for each other. Many meet afterwards for breakfast.

Bible Study Fellowship Mondays, 6:55 p.m. at Faith Reformed Church in Zeeland Join men from area churches each Monday night during the school year for this non-denominational study of God’s Word.
