September 2007
Sunday the 9th
VanRaalte Circle of Prayer, 12:301 p.m.
Come with us right after 2nd service as we seek to encircle our adopted VanRaalte School. This goal will require you and your family to come alongside the Kids Hope Team of Mentors and Prayer Partners. We will hold the staff, students and families of VanRaalte School before the Lord to request safety for the coming year as well as academic, social, emotional, relational and spiritual growth.
Prayer Partner and Mentor Potluck, 12 p.m. in CWCs Gym.
Join us following the Circle of Prayer for fellowship, sharing, order a shirt for this year and meet new folks.
October 2007
Friday the 5th
Subs with Teacher Orientation, 11:2512:05 p.m. at VanRaaltes Media Center.
This required meeting is where you receive your assigned student and information, meet Anna and your teacher and schedule when you will do your tutoring.
Sunday the 7th
Kids Hope Sunday between services (10:1511:15 a.m.) and after second service (12:30-1:30 p.m.) in CWCs Gym.
Mentors who are available
sign up for when you will be available to meet other CWC folks who might be interested in Kids Hope. We will give the church a chance to meet you, talk with you about what mentoring is all about. Information and applications will be available as well as some stories and pictures.
Week of the 8th
Tutoring begins this week for 1st and 2nd Grades. Due to MEAP testing, 3rd grade tutoring will begin at individual teachers discretion.
Wednesday the 19th
Kid Central Wild West Fall Fest, 6:30-8 p.m.
Mentors please invite your child to attend this special event at CWC.
November 2007
Friday the 2nd
Fall Kick-of at Teusinks Pony Farm, 68:30 p.m.
Come and meet your Kids Hope child and their family as we let down our hair and have some food, and fun. Hay Maze, Pet and even feed the animals, Hayride, campfire, and other fun stuff planned.
Friday the 16th
Kid Central Pajama And Story Night, 6:308 p.m.
Mentors please invite your child to attend this special event at CWC.

Kids Hope Pizza Party, 11:25-12:05 p.m. at VanRaalte Media Center.
Following the Pizza Party we will have a Mentor/Parent Reading Workshop 12:15-1:15 Our Reading Specialist will give good reading strategies and we will make and take an activity home to use with our child.

Kids Hope at Central Day.
Everyone associated with Kids Hope is encouraged to wear their shirts, and come celebrate a great year. VanRaalte Kids and their families are invited to come to church and then share a meal in their honor.
