If your child is in Elementary school (1st-5th grades), there are so many dynamic places for them to grow and develop in their love for the Lord here at Central! Read below for opportunities for each age group within the elementary program.
Sunday mornings at 9:15 a.m. is an awesome time of worship for children in 1st and 2nd grades. In this fun, stimulating and interactive environment, leaders and small group mentors build relationships with the kids and learn to love Jesus together. The hour starts with a large group setting filled with singing, celebrating and learning and then breaks into small groups where relationships are formed and kids can engage in life application activities.
Sunday mornings at 9:15 a.m. is a great opportunity for children in 3rd-5th grades. This fun environment is designed to offer relationship building in the initial game time and then challenge the older elementary student in worship, prayer and Bible study through large group teaching presentations and interactive conversations in small groups.
Second Gear, Sunday mornings at 10:50 a.m.
Second Gear is a Sunday School environment where kids in 1st-5th grades can study and learn about the Bible in graded classes with their peers. 1st-3rd graders begin this time in a large group teaching setting. Teachers are committed to providing an hour of learning and interaction through age-appropriate Bible lessons, verse memorization and activities.
Wednesday evenings, 6:30-8 p.m. (fall-spring) Club 15 is our program for kids in 1st-5th grades. This action-packed, exciting program offers various gender specific activities including: recreation, crafts, pinewood derby, life skills classes and Bible study. It is a great time for kids to connect and build relationships.
