Summer Internship Program
If you're interested in working with us for the summer, here is the information you'll need! We are looking for 3 individuals to work in the following ministries: Children's, College and Students. The internships are paid and last 12 weeks. Read below for descriptions about each of the positions available. Then, fill out the 4 forms below and turn them in by April 1, 2010. Student Ministries
As an intern with Student Ministries, you will be involved in the day-to-day operations of writing, prepping, planning and leading a variety of Middle School activites under the direction of Pastor Lance Young. Some of these activities will include: summer camp, a mission trip, Sunday morning and Wednesday night programs, the launch of a student leadership team and "in-home" Bible studies. You would also be asked to teach a few times in High School Ministries and possibly be involved in a high school event.
Kid Central
As an intern for Kid Central, our children's ministry, you will be involved in outreach activities in the community, weekend programming for kids (infant through 5th grade) and time with an effective team, led by Jay Hostetler. This would be a highly instructional time, giving you practical experience and a philosophical foundation for our ministry.
College Crowd
Supervised by Pastor Todd Johnson, you will experience leading a weekly college Bible study. You will also work with a Leadership Team to plan monthly socials and service projects, have one-on-ones with students and work closely with Pastor Todd in other areas of ministry, including young Single Adults and Small Groups.
