Senior Community Day, June 1

"Sieze life! Eat bread with gusto; dress festively every morning. Don't skimp on colors and scarves. Relish life with the spouse you love each and every day of your precarious life. Each day is God's gift. It's all you get in exchange for the hard work of staying alive. Make the most of each one! Whatever turns up, grab it and do it. And heartily!" —Ecclesiastes 9:7-9 (The Message)

"Once you're over the hill, you begin to pick up speed." —Charles M. Schultz

From the creator of the world, to the not-so-powerful creator of "Peanuts," we hear the message of "sieze the day." On Friday, June 1, the perfect opportunity to embrace this message will present itself for our senior adults: The 7th Annual Senior Community Day, hosted by Central, and presented by the Lakeshore Area Senior Marketing Group. From 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., the focus will be products, services and education designed especially for seniors, their caregivers and families. Free seminars, free health screenings, over 70 resource booths and door prizes are all planned for the day.

Choose one seminar from three different time frames—all helping you in diverse areas of your life: financial, physical, recreational, emotional and more. There is no registration fee to attend! Here is the schedule:
