Winter 2012 Class Offerings
The Vessel (C167) Taught by Dr. Ryan Bentley Wednesdays, 6:30-8 p.m. Begins January 11 In a country where seven of the top 10 causes of death are related to poor lifestyle choices, Christians are not able to optimally live out their lives according to God's purpose. We are fatigued, depressed and dying early of chronic lifestyle diseases. It is important that we become intentional and move beyond motivation to inspiration—through His Word—to care for God's temple, because "your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit" (1 Corinthians 6:19). Join us for a four-week class where you'll learn simple truths based on biblical principles that will allow you to live a healthier life.
James: Mercy Triumphs (C166) Facilitated by Barb TerpstraWednesdays, 6:30-8 p.m. Begins February 1Beth Moore provides a personal study experience for the eight sessions of this in-depth women's Bible study. James, Jesus' own brother, started out as a skeptic. See how one glimpse of the resurrected Savior turned an unbeliever into a disciple. Topics in this study include: joy, hardship, faith, reversal of fortunes for rich and poor, wisdom, gifts from above, single-mindedness, the dangers of the tongue, humility and prayer. Higher Ground (C165) Taught by Carl BeridonWednesdays, 6:30-8 p.m. Begins January 11It has been said that in so many ways, the Bible is so current one can believe the ink is still drying on its pages! As we consider the condition of our world and the anxiety we face, it is clear there has never been a better time to dig into God's Word. Join us as we seek to know Him and His plans for us in a deeply meaningful way. Financial Peace University (A244) Facilitated by Rex HeiserWednesdays, 6:30-8:30 p.m. Introductory Lesson January 25Stop worrying about money and start your journey to financial peace today!
