Haiti Supply Kits

We have been working with a group of businesses here in West Michigan to arrange for two containers to be shipped to Haiti to bring relief supplies to our partner, World Hope International. There is a need for personal hygiene kits, family-size tents and generators to be distributed among the people where many refugees are seeking food, shelter and medical care. We can help! Time is short to get these supplies together to ship to Haiti. If you are putting together a hygiene kit, our Global Ministries Team would like to ask you to bring the entire pack rather than just some of the items listed. The more we can send, the more needs will be met. If you have friends, family members or neighbors who you think might like to participate, please let them know about this opportunity. Our window of time and opportunity is narrow. We will be accepting personal hygiene kits, family-size tents and generators now through March 29. Hygiene kits, tents and generators (3200W range) can be dropped off at Taylor Rental on Waverly in Holland during business hours. Below are suggested items for the Hygiene Kits: Adult Kit (Male or Female) Bath towel Wash cloth Toothpaste (4.6 oz. or larger) Toothbrush Bar of soap Plastic soap container Comb Razors (5 or more) Shaving cream (2.5 oz. or larger) Hand sanitizer (4 oz. or larger)* Deodorant Flushable wipes (10 or more) Bandages (travel size or larger) Feminine hygiene products Tissues (2 travel size) Mesh bag (tote or laundry) Child's Kit Bath towel Wash cloth Kids toothpaste (4.6 oz. or larger) Kids toothbrush Bar of soap Plastic soap container Comb Hand sanitizer (4 oz. or larger)* Flushable wipes (10 or more) Bandages (travel size or larger) Tissues (2 travel size) Toy (game/puzzle/coloring book with crayons, etc.) Mesh bag (tote or laundry) *Please place liquid items in a sealed plastic bag.
