Kingdom Expansion 101 (KE101) provides a biblical and strategic framework to assist individuals of Central Wesleyan Church in making informed decisions about their local and global outreach involvement. The following topics are covered in this course: • What is a biblical perspective for kingdom expansion? • What is a scriptural analysis for local church involvement? • What is the status of world evangelism? • What are the major global issues the local church must consider? • How does this apply to you and your church?
Course coordinator The course coordinator for KE101 will be George Beals, Pastor of Global Ministries at Central Wesleyan Church.
Cost All participants: $35
Dates January 18 – February 28 (6 Weeks)
Length 6 Weeks: KE101 is a five-week course, preceded by a one-week introduction to online learning.
Mechanics/Material The course will require about four to six hours a week of work, depending on your level of interaction with the other students. All the material is presented online, and will be a mix of text, audio/video and some live, offline activities. Also, a main part of the course is the interaction between participants and the facilitator through forums. KE101 is an asynchronous course, so there are not specific times you need to be online, and there is not one set time when everyone is on at the same time. The assignments have due dates, but you are free to complete those assignments according to your schedule (i.e., you can do them at night, in the morning, at lunch, etc.).
Registration To register, fill out the form below. After registering you will need to write a check for $35 made out to Central Wesleyan Church and send it to the Global Ministries Department of Central Wesleyan. Upon completion of the registration and receiving your payment we will add your name to the list of participants in this session.
