Bombali Bana Update - Jesus Film Impacts Village
The Sierra Leone Task Force of Central Wesleyan had asked if the Jesus Film could be used in Bombali Bana to strengthen the church and bring witness of Christ to the Muslims and animists in the village. Here is an update on what recently took place in the village.

Recently a team of evangelists from The Wesleyan Church of Sierra Leone visited Bombali Bana and the neighboring villages. During the day team members embarked on one-to-one evangelism. Several students at the elementary school gave their lives to the Lord, with many others rededicating their lives. In the evening the team showed the Jesus Film which has not been shown in this area in 35 years. Over the 4 days of the campaign over 960 people viewed the film with over 480 people responding by making a commitment to Christ. The spirit of revival was strong during the campaign that ended on Sunday with a worship service in the Wesleyan Church.

Lay Leader of the church, Yilla Sesay, publicly testified that the Jesus Film spurred a new commitment in his heart. Watching Jesus Christ painfully dying on the cross for him, left him with no alternative but to rededicate his life to the Lord. "My commitment as a Christian and lay leader of the Church has been rekindled. I am now pressing on to higher heights; I am appealing to every member to do the same."

Pray for Pastor Saidu and the church leaders as they follow up on these people who have made commitments.

Effects Of Easter
He came unto His own; and His own received Him not.
But  as many as received Him; From every nation and tribe;
He gave them the power to become sons of God!
Hallelujah!

And so last Sunday at about 8PM yet another 31 year  old man;
Gave his heart to the Lord very willingly after hearing what Jesus Did for all mankind.
This coming Easter Sunday; Nisanka and his wife who were drawn into the presence of Christ about four months ago are getting baptized.
Last Sunday, a lady who stated visiting our church about five weeks ago, requested to be baptized in the coming weeks when her husband returns from working abroad.
All of these people never knew Jesus before;  as they come from non Christian back grounds.

Because He concurred death over 2000 years ago, still people  from   every tribe, every nation are drawn to  Christ. Hallelujah!

Have a blessed Easter.
