That's why Kid Central and Winning at Home are presenting the P3 Purity Event. This special weekend allows heart-to-heart time for moms and dads with their 5th grade daughters and sons to talk about life's most intimate issues. We want to help your child decide in advance what his or her convictions will be regarding staying pure until marriage. We ask that each child have a same-gender parent or mentor (other relative or family friend) attend with them.
At P3 information is presented and then time is given for conversation between the parent and child. A journal is provided to record information and give direction for the discussion time. In addition to offering biblically-based information, our goal is to help you develop your parent-child relationship by laying a foundation for future discussions as your child matures.
We are excited about making this available to all 5th graders and their parents in the Holland area and have brought together speakers qualified through education and experience in communicating with young people and families about this subject.
Come to an important parent meeting Sunday, January 29, 10:30-10:50 a.m. in D226
At this meeting you'll meet our speakers, Susan Littlejohn and Doug Swink and receive a parent folder that includes helpful tips on how to prepare for the weekend. If you are unable to attend this meeting, please dowload and print the forms below and bring them with you on Feb. 18. We will provide a folder for you to put them in. Thanks!
The cost per parent and child is $35 (by Feb. 14) or $50 (after Feb. 14). Please register below and send us a check (or drop it off) with your payment.
