Our Plunge mission was to spring clean at a food pantry warehouse. We anticipated 10 - 12 volunteers. The night before the plunge, our head count was four. Three adults and one teen. The project involved scrubbing floors,doors, disinfecting work surface areas, re-arranging shelves, outdoor work if time and weather permitted, etc...

Ok..LORD we thought. Perhaps four people are all you intended. The phone rang! Our son's friend had a proposition. He could add three more teens to our total if we could provide the ride. We gladly accepted!

We adults were so impressed with the willingness, the attitude and helpfulness of our teen workers. Our labor was fun!! Our teens even inquired how could they serve at the pantry on a more frequent basis, not just once a year. WOW!

God call's us to serve. We learned not to be discouraged by the number HE calls, but encouraged and blessed by the group that HE calls! :)
