Who We Are
A team of volunteers who use their gifts of communication to proclaim truth through a variety of media: drama—live and on camera, Scripture reading, teleprompter, verbal transitions and more.
How to Join
Fill out a written application and submit to the Worship Arts office at worshiparts@centralwesleyan.org.
Interview and audition with Kim Fowler.
No experience required.
Time Commitment
If you are performing on a Sunday morning you will be needed at both the 9:15 and 10:50 a.m. services.
Any time you are needed for a video shoot we will schedule a time that is convenient for you.
Rehearsals will be scheduled on weekdays. The number of rehearsals will depend on the complications of the piece.
Expectations
Artistically
Learning scripts before rehearsals.
Arriving at rehearsals on time and prepared.
Continuing to grow and improve abilities.
Community
Attending fall and winter retreats.
Responding quickly to all PCO (Planning Center Online) requests and correspondence.
Spiritual
Worshipping in the congregation on Sunday mornings when not on stage.
Spending time with God behind closed doors, in Scripture and prayer.
Tithing and giving.
