Who We Are
A large group made up of individual parts who use our gifts to glorify the Lord with a variety of musical abilities and experiences (from high schoolers to senior citizens).
How to Join
Attend and sit in on one of our Wednesday evening rehearsals, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Schedule a follow-up appointment to meet with Roger by contacting Karen Alderink at worshiparts@centralwesleyan.org or 616.395.3116.
Time Commitments
September-June Wednesday, 6:30-8:30 p.m. on the platform in the Worship Center, additional rehearsalsmay occasionally be scheduled for special events.
Sunday rehearsal, 8 a.m.
Sunday services, 9:15 & 10:50 a.m.
Expectations
Musical Attending rehearsals on Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings.
Personal practice time at home is needed.
Responding quickly to all PCO (Planning Center Online) requests and correspondence.
Community Attending fall and winter retreats.
Contacting director if you're going to be absent from a rehearsal or service.
Spiritual Spending time with God behind closed doors, in Scripture and prayer.
Worshipping in the congregation on Sunday mornings when not on stage.
