We invite you to join us on our Impact Visionary Journey. The Impact Vision is the next step that we feel God is calling us to as we seek to make an even greater impact on our community.

Over the next three years, we want to continue to see Central positioned to bring fruitful change to Holland, with tools needed to thrive in an emerging America.

It's time to build upon what began with the Stronger Challenge in 2016 to make an even greater Impact, Home & Away. We are ready!

FAQ

Impact is the second step in our vision to ensure that Central is well-placed to impact our town, region, nation, and the world. What began as a dream on Sunday May 3, 2015, led us to jump into the Stronger Challenge of 2016. Three years and multiple locations later, God is calling us to take the next step in preparing our church family to minister in a changing West Michigan.
The primary goal of Impact is 100% of those who call Central home being committed to seeking God’s will for them during our visionary journey. We want 100% of those who call Central home to open themselves up to the Lord and have a life-changing encounter with Him as it relates to generosity. We do not ask for equal giving but an equal commitment to seeking God for what He would have us do.

The secondary goal is to seek to raise $3.6 million in additional generosity over the next three years to reduce remaining debt and improve spaces needed for both existing and new ministries. This investment is needed to enable us to keep pace with the vision to IMPACT our world over the next three years.

More information on all this can be found in our Impact materials above. Hard copy materials are available at the Information Desk or church office if you have not received your copy.
The focus of Impact is on what God is calling Central to be and where He is calling us to go. Having spent much time in the Stronger Challenge talking about our region, nation, and world, Impact focuses attention back upon our responsibility and calling to our own community. If Stronger was about our responsibility to the world, Impact is about our responsibility to our home.
No. The members of Central were asked to approve the purchase, through debt financing, of a building for Captivate Church in San Diego. Captivate Church, led by Pastor Weston Stutz is a Water's Edge Network Church. Captivate Church was asked to raise 25% equity in the purchase and will repay the loan. However, through Impact we have no plans to add additional debt.
